Katherine is part of the firm’s transactional department where she focuses advising contractors, business owners, and developers on the contracts and legal agreements that form the foundation of successful businesses and construction projects. She works closely with clients to draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, helping them allocate risk, protect their interests, and avoid costly disputes before they arise.
Katherine has extensive experience preparing and negotiating construction contracts, subcontracts, purchase agreements, service agreements, master service agreements, vendor contracts, and other business documents. She takes a practical, detail-oriented approach to contract drafting, ensuring that agreements are not only legally sound but also reflect her clients' operational and business objectives. By anticipating potential issues during the negotiation process, Katherine helps clients minimize risk and establish clear expectations that support long-term success.
In addition to contract drafting and negotiation, Katherine advises clients on business formation, corporate governance, compliance matters, employment matters and general commercial transactions.
