Soon after completing a paralegal certification from James Madison University, Kathie joined the firm in 2017 as its first employee. Primary tasks began with assisting in documentation and case preparation. Bringing with her years of office management experience, she filled the needs of the firm as it grew. As a result in 2024, Kathie was promoted to Director of Finance.

As Director of Finance, Kathie oversees the firm's financial operations and plays an integral role in supporting both the firm's attorneys and its clients. She is responsible for managing the firm's accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, billing, accounts receivable, and trust accounting, ensuring that every aspect of the firm's financial administration is handled with accuracy, transparency, and efficiency.

Kathie is part of the firm’s executive committee and works closely with the other members of leadership to develop financial strategies that support the firm's continued growth. Her attention to detail, analytical approach, and commitment to operational excellence help ensure that the firm delivers exceptional service to its clients while maintaining efficient internal processes.
